Melbourne Storm fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen is putting together an impressive highight reel in 2020 and his brilliant long-range try against Canberra is sure to feature prominently.

Papenhuyzen picked up 45 per cent of the fans' votes to collect Try of the Week honours for round 9, beating home Dragons pivot Corey Norman who secured 38 per cent for his try off an Adam Clune kick late in the game against Manly.

The other two contenders for try of the week in round 9 were Titan Sam Stone's four-pointer laid on by Tyrone Peachey's freakish flickback and Panther Dylan Edwards finishing off great lead-up by rookie Charlie Staines.
