There has been plenty of special moments in our history, here are just a few from this week including the re-signing of Billy Slater in 2010.

7 April 2017: Craig Bellamy’s reaches 400 games as Storm coach in second-rower Ryan Hoffman’s 250th NRL game.

8 April 2013: Melbourne Storm extend their winning record to a club record 13 consecutive victories with a 26-12 defeat of Wests Tigers at AAMI Park

9 April 2017: Premiers Cronulla inflict Melbourne’s first loss for the season when they claim an 11-2 victory at AAMI Park. The Storm are kept tryless in Melbourne for the first time in the club’s 20-year history.

10 April 2011: Test fullback Billy Slater re-signs with Melbourne Storm for a further four seasons.

11 April 2008: Melbourne hand Manly a 26-4 caning in a grand final rematch at Olympic Park. Billy Slater grabs two tries to score a decisive victory over Test rival Brett Stewart.

12 April 2019: Melbourne captain Cameron Smith breaks the all-time premiership point scoring record in the Storm’s 16-12 defeat of North Queensland at 1300SMILES Stadium. Smith’s 49th minute penalty goal takes him past Hazem El Masri’s career tally of 2,418 points.

12 April 2019: Winger Sandor Earl makes his return to the NRL for the first time since August 2013

13 April 2001: Melbourne halfback Matt Orford outshines his high-profile opponent Brett Kimmorley in the Storm’s 52-18 win over the Northern Eagles.

13 April 2013: Undefeated competition leaders Melbourne and South Sydney fight out a captivating battle in front of 32,671 fans at ANZ Stadium before the Storm claim a 17-10 victory.
