An update on Brodie Croft and Curtis Scott

Melbourne Storm has today confirmed the release of NRL squad members Curtis Scott and Brodie Croft from the remainder of their contracts to allow them to take up opportunities elsewhere in the competition.

Both players made their NRL debuts for Storm in the 2016 season with Scott going on to play 48 NRL games, including nine this year, while Croft took his career tally to 39 appearances with 22 matches in 2019.

Storm would like to thank both Curtis and Brodie for their contributions to our club on and off the playing field and wish them all the best with their NRL careers.

Additions to our NRL squad and contract extensions on top of the six players announced in the past fortnight – Ryan Papenhuyzen, Kenny Bromwich, Tui Kamikamica, Christian Welch, Harry Grant and Albert Vete - will be made prior to the Christmas/New Year break.

The changes to our roster will ensure Storm is salary cap compliant for the 2020 NRL season.
