NRL Victoria and Melbourne Storm will launch community program Score Storm in 2020, giving individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to play rugby league.
Score Storm will train weekly leading into a 10-week season, integrating the team with the NRL Victoria competition.
The team will also have the opportunity to play against other NRL Score teams including Score Dragons, Score Raiders and Score Wests Tigers.
The program promotes inclusiveness and benefits mainstream players as they learn tolerance and respect.
