Round 10 Game Day guide

Two teams in red-hot form

Following a shock loss to the Sharks on the road, Melbourne Storm responded in true Melbourne style during Magic Round, thumping the Eels at Suncorp Stadium with ruthless intent.

In an 11-try rugby league lesson, Cameron Munster put on a masterclass and Curtis Scott made a triumphant return to first grade with a stunning length of the field try.

The night ended in tragedy for Scott - who will be sidelined with injury after fracturing his foot late in the match - but the team performance was nothing short of electric.

Meanwhile, the Tigers recorded the fastest opening in the club’s history last weekend, steamrolling a hapless Panthers outfit to rack up a 30-4 victory.

Five of their six tries were scored in the first 17 minutes.

On the back of commanding wins, Thursday night's clash is shaping up to be a riveting game of football.

The Under 16 Victoria Grey and Victoria Blue women's teams will play a curtain raiser on Gosch's Paddock before the game, with kick-off at 5.40pm.
