Full squad reunited

January

Every player (besides the Bromwich brothers – they're back next week) has returned to the training track after some well-deserved rest and relaxation over the Christmas break.

 

Geelong training camp

January 14

Players, coaches and performance staff will travel down the highway for the annual pre-season training camp at Geelong Grammar next week. The team will spend two weeks together on campus utilising the first-class facilities including a training ground, gym, swimming pool and dormitories.

 

All Stars set to shine

February 15

The Australian Indigenous All Stars will take on the New Zealand Maori All Stars at AAMI Park in a revamped All-Star format to launch the 2019 NRL season in Melbourne. For the first time the spectacle will be a double-header, featuring a women's clash with the same teams.

Storm hits Geelong

February 22

Melbourne Storm will host the New Zealand Warriors at Kardinia Park next month – bringing the world's best rugby league talent to Geelong for the first time since 2013. The trial match will be played under lights and is expected to bring droves of visitors to the region.

Mackay trial match

March 2

The North Queensland Cowboys will host Storm in Mackay - the final trial game only a fortnight before the season proper. The match will follow a women's clash earlier in the day.
