Season Review: Young Tonumaipea

Young Tonumaipea is living proof that there is more to life than just football.

The 25-year-old made the decision to leave rugby league in July and follow his faith to serve a full-time mission in Germany.

After four and a half seasons with Storm, Tonumaipea departed having made a lasting legacy for rugby league in Victoria.

He was only the third player from the southern state to pull on the purple jersey, playing 43 career games since making his NRL debut in 2014.

Tonumaipea was the ultimate team player and lived and breathed the Storm values on and off the field.
