This year was full of bad luck for Cheyse Blair as his body never quite allowed him to get a good run at it.

He had to wait until Round 14 for his first NRL game, playing in a runaway win over the Broncos.

Blair appeared in eight of the final 11 games of the home and away season as he lined up on the wing, in the centres and even came off the bench against the Raiders in Round 22.

The return of several established stars during finals series saw Blair drop out of the 17 for the Preliminary final however it was not due to lack of performance.

The 26-year-old produced one of the performances of the season in the Qualifying final as he scored two tries and ran for 118 metres in a thrilling win over the Rabbitohs.
