The 2018 season was one in which Patrick Kaufusi laid the foundations for his Storm future.
Arriving at the Club from the Cowboys last November, Kaufusi spent his first few months in the rehab group due to a lingering injury.
He persevered though to make his Storm debut in Round 16 against the Roosters and played again the following week against the Dragons in his two appearances for the year.
Those games will be the motivation for Kaufusi to attack pre-season with everything he has and carve out his place in Craig Bellamy's side next season.
At just 24 years of age there is plenty of potential for the emerging forward.
