Craig Bellamy has named his 23-man squad ahead of Sunday afternoon's meeting with the Broncos at AAMI Park.

Dale Finucane will miss the match-up after re-injuring his thumb in Storm's last outing against North Queensland while Jahrome Hughes will once again fill the fullback position in Billy Slater's absence with a hamstring complaint.

Will Chambers, Josh Addo-Carr, Cameron Munster and Felise Kaufusi have all been named to back up on Sunday but will be monitored post Origin.

Four Storm players are in line to make their first appearance of the year with Pat Kaufusi, Scott Drinkwater, Cheyse Blair and Tui Kamikamica all named on an extended interchange bench.

Due to having four players involved in State of Origin, NRL provisions allow teams to name an extended squad which will be trimmed to 21 players on Saturday afternoon.
