Lodge to battle through rib injury

Matt Lodge has been cleared to play against Melbourne Storm tomorrow night.

The Broncos prop was in doubt due to a rib cartilage injury but looks set to still line up for the blockbuster clash at Suncorp Stadium.

Lodge’s teammate Alex Glenn conceded the 22-year-old is in for an uncomfortable 80 minutes.

"It's a tough injury - you feel it when you're running," Glenn said.

"It's going to be tough for the big fella to get through.

"It is a tough injury because every movement you do, it's going to affect your ribs."

Storm arrive in Brisbane today ahead of the clash at Suncorp Stadium. Fans in Melbourne will be able to watch the game free-to-air on Channel Nine.
