Thurston set for Melbourne farewell

Johnathan Thurston is set to play his last game in Melbourne on Thursday night when Storm face the North Queensland Cowboys at AAMI Park.

The meeting will be the first time the two sides have met since the 2017 Grand Final, with the blockbuster headlining Round 3 of the NRL Premiership Season.

Thursday night presents the perfect chance for rugby league fans in Melbourne to get a glimpse of Thurston in action at AAMI Park. It will be the last time in his illustrious NRL career that the champion halfback will head south for an NRL season match unless both sides meet in Melbourne during the fin.

Storm and the Cowboys both enter the clash with one win and one loss after the opening two rounds of the NRL season, setting up a mouthwatering match-up.

Be at AAMI Park on Thursday night and see JT in action for the last time in Melbourne! Get your tickets!
