Earlier in the week Sunshine Coast Lightning received the Sport & Recreation Award at the Sunshine Coast Australia Day Awards.

One of Sunshine Coast’s three charity partners, the Daniel Morcombe Foundation won the Community Organisation Award, and its founders, Bruce & Denise Morcombe jointly won Citizen of the Year.
