A total of 12 Storm players from the 2017 season have been named in World Cup squads for Week One of the tournament.

Nelson Asofa-Solomona will make his international debut when he lines up for New Zealand against Somoa on Saturday.

Jordan McLean has also been named to make his debut for Australia when the tournament kicks off this Friday night against England.

While he was not named in Mal Meninga’s 17, Felise Kaufusi remains on the cusp of selection having been named as a reserve for the Kangaroos.
