Former Melbourne Storm winger Matt Duffie is set to be an All Black.
Duffie was one of four potential debutants named in New Zealand’s 37-man squad on Monday.
The All Blacks will play tests against Canada and France in their upcoming northern tour.
"(Duffie) is a very good finisher, he's got pace, he's good in the air, he can play wing or fullback,” All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said.
“He's got a sense of maturity about him that will fit in very well with what we're trying to do at the moment."
Duffie scored 37 tries in 62 games for Storm between 2010-2015.
The 27-year-old returned to New Zealand at the end of the 2015 season to play for hometown Super Rugby side Auckland Blues.
