Premiership winning duo Kenny Bromwich and Nelson Asofa-Solomona have been selected to play for New Zealand in the upcoming Rugby League World Cup.
Asofa-Solomona is set to make his international debut for the Kiwis following a breakout year in the purple jersey.
The 21-year-old missed just one game in 2017 and has emerged as one of the NRL’s most exciting young forwards, providing tremendous impact off the bench for Craig Bellamy’s side.
After playing the last two ANZAC Test matches, Kenny Bromwich will add to his experience in the Kiwi jersey.
The call up is just reward for Bromwich who has enjoyed an incredible consistent two years, missing just one game for Melbourne.
New Zealand kick off their World Cup campaign against Samoa at Mount Smart Stadium on October 28.
