Cameron Smith will this week equal Darren Lockyer’s record for most games played in NRL history.

Saturday’s game against the Raiders at AAMI Park will be the 355th of Smith’s illustrious career.

The Storm skipper has broken just about every record possible this season and this weekend will see the 34-year-old draw level with Lockyer, a fellow Queensland great to whom Smith has spoken about idolising whilst growing up.

The significant milestone will follow last week’s achievement that saw Smith become the first player to reach 250 wins in the NRL.

His 354 games have come at an incredible winning percentage of 70.6 per cent.
