It is getting close to that time of the year.

The end of winter is in sight, finals on the horizon and the footy games start to mean that little bit extra.

With four games left until the big stuff starts, Saturday’s top of the table clash at AAMI Park is shaping up as arguably the biggest game of the year.

Top of the table clash! Storm v Roosters, Saturday 12 August, 5:30pm at AAMI Park!

A Storm win would see them move three games clear on top of the NRL ladder however should the visitors spoil the party, it would blow the top four wide open.

The Roosters pose a significant challenge and it will continue on the theme of the month for Melbourne.

Storm are on a three game winning run and while the average margin has been almost 20 points, the games have been far from an easy ride.

“The last three games have been pretty tough to be honest, Canberra, Manly and the Cowboys,” Bellamy said.

“You look at the score lines and wouldn’t think they are tough games but for periods there, they were. You do want that at this time of year but whatever the opposition put up, you’ve got to deal with.

“Every week is a test, it is a close competition and every week is worth two points.”

Storm take on the Roosters at 5.30pm tomorrow at AAMI Park.
