Joe Stimson is a player who typifies just how exciting this generation of Storm talent is going to be.

Stimson made his NRL debut against the Warriors in Round 2 and has gone on to make a further 12 appearances in the purple jersey to date.

Top of the table clash! Storm v Roosters, Saturday 12 August, 5:30pm at AAMI Park!

He has played the last five games and has now earned a starting role in the second row since Round 20.

The 21-year-old was understandably loving everything that had come his way in 2017 so far.

“I have really enjoyed it, I have really relished the chance to start in that forward pack,” Stimson said.

“I have learned a lot off Tohu and Kenny Bromwich. I am loving the fact that I am starting and hopefully I can stay there for a while.

“We are getting a bit of a combination there with Curtis Scott and Josh Addo-Carr. It is really good, all I have to do is give them the ball and hope for the best.

“I am really enjoying playing with those guys as well as Ryley Jacks and Cameron Munster when they are there.”

Stimson has again been named on the left edge when Storm take on the Roosters in Saturday’s top of the table clash at AAMI Park.
