Cameron Smith played his 351st game against the Cowboys on Friday night.

That now sees him move past Terry Lamb into outright second for most games played in NRL history.

He now sits just five games away from breaking Darren Lockyer’s all-time record of 355 games.

There are currently four games left in the home and away season, meaning to break the record Smith would need to do so in this year’s finals series.

Should he do it, that milestone will all but ensure the Storm skipper holds just about every record possible for a player of his position.

Rugby league immortality awaits.
