Cheyse Blair has suffered another suspected ankle injury during Saturday night’s loss to Parramatta.

The rock-solid centre left the field in the 25th minute and did not return to the field.

It was his first game back since suffering an ankle injury against the Sharks back in Round 14.

Blair will undergo scans before a course of treatment is determined although early signs did not appear positive.

“It looks like he has cracked his ankle again,” Craig Bellamy said.

“He had a pin put in there… five or six weeks ago. I don’t think we will see Cheyse again this year by the sound of it.

“I am not quite sure what has gone wrong… obviously they won’t know until he has a scan but it is bad news.”

The Club will provide further update on Blair’s injury once he has undergone scans.
