The Thunderbolts have returned to AAMI Park in style.

Storm’s Under-20s overturned an 18-0 deficit to record a famous two-point win.

The NYC Cowboys raced out of the blocks with a try inside the opening five minutes.

They then added the next three of the game to hold a seemingly unassailable second half lead.

However the turning point came through Beau Fermor who scored two tries in as many minutes for the Thunderbolts to make it an 18-10 game.

North Queensland edged back out to a 10-point lead thanks to a penalty but the Thunderbolts would not be denied.

Sale Finau crossed to cut the margin to four points before Storm’s Under-20s made took the lead with just over 10 minutes to play.

The Thunderbolts then dug their heels in to hold on for an unforgettable 22-20 triumph.
