Jordan McLean is expected to miss at least the next month after suffering a suspected broken cheekbone.

McLean was involved in an accidental clash of heads with Sharks centre Ricky Leutele in the 46th minute of Storm’s win over Cronulla.

The heavy impact forced the Storm prop to sit out the remainder of the game.

He will be further assessed upon his return to Melbourne but the early indications suggest the damage is quite clear.

“He will be out for around 4-6 weeks by the look of it,” Storm coach Craig Bellamy said.

“Unfortunately he just got a clash of heads. He has had that injury before so he knows exactly how it is feeling.”
