Rested, rejuvenated and ready to go for the middle part of the season.

The Thunderbolts enjoyed a week off last week during the bye and will approach Saturday’s game against the Knights looking to turn their form line around.

Storm’s Under-20s have won just one of their last eight games but a time has come to draw a line in the sand for the young side.

“Our last game against Souths was one of our worst for the season so the boys are pretty keen to bounce back from that,” Thunderbolts coach Eric Smith said.

“They are quite hungry to put in a better performance than our last month to be quite honest.

“We’ve been down after the first month of the year when we started off really well. We know that, we are not hiding from that, we just need to keep working hard to turn it around.

“Even when things are against us we’ve just got to have the same amount of energy. The boys know that but they came back last night, trained really well so hopefully the weekend off will play dividends for us.”

We return to AAMI Park on June 2. Watch us take on the Knights!
