Jordan McLean has been named in the NSW Blues squad for next week’s State of Origin series opener.

McLean has been included as an additional player in Laurie Daley’s 20-man squad. He will join his Blues teammates in Origin camp this week and is a chance to make his Origin debut should the Blues make a change to their originally named 17.

McLean is averaging almost 11 metres per carry and 27 tackles per game in 2017.

Tuesday’s selection was just-reward for the 25-year-old who has built himself into one of the games premiere forwards over the last two seasons.

We return to AAMI Park on June 2. Watch us take on the Knights!
