See the numbers that made up Storm’s victory over the Dragons on Sunday.

They say bad things come in threes but for Melbourne on Sunday afternoon, good things came in twos! All of Storm’s tries were delivered in pairs. Josh Addo-Carr, Suliasi Vunivalu and Billy Slater all bagged two tries each in the Storm victory.

Storm’s 2017 away record remained unblemished following their victory at Wollongong’s WIN Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The tally for Craig Bellamy’s side goes to five away wins after the opening nine rounds – it is the first time the Club has won it’s opening five away fixtures of a season.

Storm winger Josh Addo-Carr was at his electrifying best against the Dragons. Not only did ‘The Fox’ score two tries but he also gained a whopping 226 metres for his side. The next best on the park came from Dragons forward Tariq Sims who recorded 153.

That’s how many days since Billy Slater last scored a try in a purple jersey. Slater’s return to the field warmed the hearts of the purple faithful in Round 3 and the champion fullback has been building ever since then. Continuing to impress and improve every week, Slater has wasted no time in once again becoming a lethal threat for Craig Bellamy’s side.
