The Thunderbolts will be looking to overturn a run of consecutive defeats when they travel to Pittwater Rugby Park to take on the Sea Eagles.

Storm’s Under-20s were unlucky to trail 18-nil at half-time against the Sharks before mounting a sudden comeback to take the lead.

They could not continue their momentum though and were eventually overrun 22-36 against Cronulla.

While back-to-back losses are never ideal, the Thunderbolts remain clear about what they need to focus on this week.

“At times some teams are showing a bit more aggression and urgency than us, that is where they are getting on top of us,” coach Eric Smith said.

“We just need to be a bit more urgent. Especially with our defensive actions and especially with trying to control the speed of things around the ruck.

“That is something that has been identified in the last few weeks. At this stage we’re making slow progress but we need to make sure we are up again this weekend, it is a tough trip to Manly.”
