Melbourne Storm’s thrilling comeback win over the Brisbane Broncos on Thursday night has come at a cost with Cameron Munster and Suliasi Vunivalu both sustaining injuries in the 14-12 victory at AAMI Park.

Cameron Munster sustained a fractured jaw after colliding with Broncos winger Corey Oates in the second half. Munster is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks.

Vunivalu is likely to miss 3-4 weeks after suffering a disrupted AC joint in the second half, the Club is awaiting results of scans to confirm the severity. This will be the first game Vunivalu has missed since making his NRL debut in Round 7 last year.

After a tough three weeks to start the season that included two away trips and a short turnaround into last night’s game, Storm now enjoy a 10 day break before travelling to Leichhardt Oval to play the Tigers on Sunday 26 March.

Be there for our next home game at AAMI Park in Round 5, Saturday 1 April at 7:30pm.
