A sea of purple came out in force on Sunday afternoon to help kick-off Storm's new season at 2017 Family Day.

Fans were treated to a fun-filled day made up of live music, performances, player presentations, interviews and plenty of giveaways.

Family Day kicked off at 2:30pm with Robbie Kearns and the 2017 Cheerleaders firing up the purple faithful before CEO Dave Donaghy took to the stage to welcome fans.

Storm’s 2017 playing group received a huge reception on stage as they were presented to the purple faithful with Captain Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater speaking to the fans.
