In his first All Stars camp, Storm forward Jordan McLean is looking to learn and use the experience to start 2017 on a strong note.

Speaking from Newcastle ahead of Friday night’s clash against the Indigenous All Stars, McLean explained his excitement ahead of the representative fixture.

“They’ve got a fair side so it will be a tough game on Friday night,” McLean said.

“I’m really looking forward to playing with a lot of boys I haven’t played with before so hopefully I’ll get a lot of experience out of it.

“I think it’s a big test and a big chance to start the year off well.

“I’m just really excited about the game on Friday night – it’s been really enjoyable so far.”
