Experienced Storm centre Will Chambers says the Club’s young brigade are providing plenty of energy during their annual pre-season camp.

“It’s been a tough week the first week but the boys are getting stuck into some hard work at the moment,” Chambers explained from camp in Geelong.

“Our young kids have got a lot of energy.

“As hard as it gets at times these young kids seem to enjoy it.

“The boys have got a good work ethic and have been working hard.

“There’s a lot of good young kids coming through that will get an opportunity at some stage throughout the year.”

With the Auckland Nines fast approaching, those opportunities are just around the corner for several members of the Storm squad.

"We’re two weeks away from the Nines now and not far from practice matches so it’s important we get stuck into it, get through all the hard work and get ready for the season ahead,” Chambers said.

“All the boys are enjoying it, it’s been hard but it’s going well.”
