Storm have taken their pre-season preparations up a notch in Geelong and the results are starting to show.

With several new recruits coming into the Club in the off-season a key objective of the camp is for the playing group to develop an understanding with one-another.

That is precisely what appears to be happening with Cheyse Blair enjoying working alongside speedy addition Josh Addo-Carr.

“We are a team that has focused on a lot of areas and a lot of the new blokes have bought into that,” Blair said.

“I’ve been training with Joshy, he’s been going pretty well outside me so I am looking forward to building some combinations with him and seeing how we go.”

Storm have just begun their second week of the camp at Geelong Grammar.

While the days have been long and the work relentless, the objective is clear in the eyes of everyone involved.

“Last week was very tough, obviously we did five days straight but all the boys are looking fine and fit,” Blair said.

“I’m feeling really good… I am where I want to be at the moment. I’m doing a few extras here and there but looking forward to the trials coming up.”
