Melbourne Storm have furthered their ties with the Queensland Maroons camp with Thunderbolts trainer Kym Mahon named Head Trainer of the Queensland Women’s team.

Mahon joins the women’s team alongside new coach and former Origin forward Adrian Vowles.

The Thunderbolts already have a strong representation in the Under-20s Emerging Origin camp with three players; Brodie Croft, Harry Grant and Cory Parker all named to take part.

Storm players Tim Glasby, Cameron Munster, Felise Kaufusi and Christian Welch will head into Queensland’s Emerging Origin camp late next week.
