NRL Premiership - Preliminary Final - Melbourne Storm V Canberra Raiders - 24 September 2016 - AAMI Park

No AFL and a whole heap of purple pride, that is what will greet a blockbuster finish to Storm’s 2017 NRL season.

Melbourne will take on the Raiders at AAMI Park in Round 26 in what will be rematch of last season’s thrilling preliminary final.

Storm came out 14-12 winners that night to book their place in the NRL Grand Final.

More than 28,000 fans were at AAMI Park and another big crowd will be expected for the penultimate round of the season.

Games between the two teams have been tightly contested affairs, with four of the past six decided by single digits.

Led by two uncompromising coaches in Craig Bellamy and Ricky Stuart, it’s easy to see why this game will be a tough contest.
