Yet another season of consistency began to see Tim Glasby get the recognition he deserves.

He received a call-up to Queensland’s emerging Origin squad and if he continues to improve at the rate he has, a Maroons jersey could one day come his way.

Glasby became a mainstay of Craig Bellamy’s side, playing 22 games while starting eight of them in the front row.

The 27-year-old was one of many players to join the Club’s injury list during the year when he missed five games due to a shoulder injury.

Glasby returned to the side in Round 21 and was an important part of Melbourne’s push to the finals.

He played his 50th NRL game in Round 9 against the Gold Coast and signed a new deal with the Club that will see him remain in Melbourne until at least the end of 2018.
