Melbourne Storm would like to extended is deepest condolences to the family and friends of local rugby league player Grant Cook who tragically passed away earlier this week.

Cook, 28, was playing for the Murwillumbah Mustangs in the Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League when he collapsed after being tackled in a game on the weekend.

He is survived by his wife Colleen and their two young children.

A fund has been set up and donations are being welcomed to support the Cook family through this very difficult time.
