Storm will host its home preliminary final at AAMI Park on Saturday 24 September, 7:40pm.
Melbourne’s six-point victory over reigning premiers North Queensland last weekend sealed hosting rights for week three of the NRL Finals.
Storm will play either the Raiders or Panthers after Canberra suffered a narrow two-point loss to Cronulla while the Panthers advanced courtesy of a strong victory over the Bulldogs.
It will be the Club’s second consecutive preliminary final appearance.
The NRL confirmed dates and times for weeks two and three of the NRL Finals Series last night.
1st Semi-Final: Cowboys v Broncos – Friday 16 September, 7:55pm at 1300Smiles Stadium
2nd Semi-Final: Raiders v Panthers – Saturday 17 September, 7:40pm at GIO Stadium
Preliminary Final: Sharks v Cowboys/Broncos – Friday 23 September, 7:55pm at Allianz Stadium
