NRL Premiership - Round 26 - Melbourne Storm V Cronulla Sharks - 3 September 2016 - AAMI Park, Melbourne, Vic - Ian Knight

A crowd of 24,135 turned out at AAMI Park on Saturday night, breaking multiple records.

The parochial, purple wave of members and fans helped cheer Storm on to victory over Cronulla which secured the 2016 Minor Premiership.

With all tickets sold over three hours out from kick-off, Storm played in front of the Club’s biggest crowd of the year in Melbourne and its third biggest home and away crowd ever at AAMI Park.

It was also the largest attendance for a Storm match against the Sharks in Melbourne.
