The Thunderbolts are determined to end a season of positives on a high when they host the Sharks at Sunshine Coast Stadium this Saturday.

The development of Storm’s Under-20s has come in leaps and bounds this season.

For a side that went into the year with almost no experience at NYC level, the young team has shown consistent signs of improvement throughout 2016.

That is why they are determined to end the season on the right note.

“We’ve spoken this week about preparing mentally a little bit better,” Thunderbolts coach Eric Smith said.

“Last weekend against the Broncos is by far our worst performance of the season. We were just completely out-enthused and the Broncos had a lot more energy and intent.

“We have worked pretty hard this week on focusing on finishing our season a lot better than that. We are proud of what we have achieved this year and we need to make sure we go out on a good note and on a performance we know we can deliver.

“Everyone is really excited on sending the 2016 season squad on a really good note.”

Storm Queensland-based members can see the Thunderbolts for free this Saturday so get along and support the Storm players of the future!

Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Sharks, Saturday 3 September, 7:30pm.
