The Thunderbolts will be chasing back-to-back wins for the first time this season when they travel to Brisbane to take on the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

Storm's Under-20s are full of confidence after last week's win over Wests Tigers.

The chance to play under the bright lights and the big stage this weekend is one they are looking to embrace.

"They are really excited and taking the confidence we had out of Saturday's performance," Thunderbolts coach Eric Smith said.

Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Roosters, Saturday 23 July, 7:30pm.

"I think the short turnaround is a really good thing for us. After the confidence that was taken out of the weekend, we get to play pretty soon on a Friday night.

"It is going to be a tough ask against the Broncos down there but if we can play anywhere near where we played last week we are going to give ourselves a chance, especially with the way we defended."

As good as last week's performance was, this side is one looking to build consistency on a week-to-week basis.

That has been the focus this week, to ensure one good game is not undone the next time they take to the field.

"That is something we spoke about in our review. We have not had back-to-back wins at all this year," Smith said.

"We spoke about how good the win against the Tigers was but to be able to back it up is going to prove that we are starting to find ways to be more consistent.

"This weekend will have a big baring on whether we are taking steps in the right direction to be more consistent in our display and our outcome."
