Melbourne Storm has today announced the re-signing of forward duo Tim Glasby and Christian Welch.
Glasby will remain in Melbourne until at least the end of the 2018 season, while the Club has activated an option on Welch for 2017.
Currently in his fourth season with Storm, Glasby joined the Club’s senior list in 2013 after playing with Central Queensland Capras in the Queensland Cup.

The 26-year-old has since developed into a reliable member of Craig Bellamy’s prop rotation, playing every game since Round 18, 2014.
Welch was also recruited from the Queensland Cup from Storm’s feeder club Easts Tigers.
After earning selection in Queensland’s U20 Origin side in 2014, Welch went on to make 10 first grade appearances the following year.
Having played three games so far in 2016, the 21-year-old is continually looking to develop his game under the tutelage of Craig Bellamy.
“We are delighted to have re-signed both Tim and Christian, two players who are a big part of this Club moving forward,” Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi said.
“Tim has worked incredibly hard over the last few years to get to where he is and we have no doubt he will continue to improve and take his game to the next level.
“Christian is always looking to learn and he has worked incredibly hard on developing his game to be in regular contention for an NRL spot.
“We look forward to both players being an integral part of our forward pack into the future.”
