Marika Koroibete has been handed a grade one tripping charge by the NRL Match Review Committee.

The Fijian winger was reported for the incident that occurred in the 61st minute of Monday night’s game against Cronulla.

Koroibete has been penalised 90 points for the incident, with his additional 88 carry over points meaning he could miss this Saturday’s clash with Newcastle at AAMI Park.

Storm have until 12pm Wednesday to decide whether they will contest the charge.

Be at AAMI Park when Storm host the Knights on Saturday 2 April from 3pm.
