By the end of next week Craig Bellamy hopes to make a decision on his coaching future.
With the countdown to Round 1 in its final stages, the master coach is keen to put to rest the uncertainty surrounding his plans beyond this season.
He is aiming for that to happen before the season kicks off against the Dragons at AAMI Park on March 7.
"I'll probably give a decision at the end of next week which is not far away now," Bellamy said.
"We've got a few days off now so I'll clear my head and make sure I make that right decision.
"I want to do it before the season so hopefully we'll have it done before the end of next season."
