Storm’s two newest leadership group members, Blake Green and Jesse Bromwich say they will be looking to learn from their experienced teammates.

Green and Bromwich join Captain Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater in Storm’s leadership group for 2016 providing a fresh look for Craig Bellamy.

“I’m definitely excited at the chance of being in the leadership group and learning off those guys,” Bromwich said on Tuesday morning.

“It’s a great opportunity as Jesse said to learn from those older boys that are in there. It gives us a chance to voice our opinions and play a bit of a mentoring role for some of the younger players,” Green said, echoing the sentiments of his New Zealand prop.

“My qualities as a leader are probably more actions rather than words,” Bromwich said.

“I’ll be looking to lead with my actions on the field and at training.”
