Mahe Fonua’s final season at the club holds extra significance, as he departs Melbourne as the first Victorian to reach 50 first-grade games.

The Tongan international made 13 appearances for Craig Bellamy’s side in 2015, scoring 4 tries in the process.

Fonua also played a prominent role for Storm feeder team Easts Tigers, validating his importance with several tries in their run to a semi-final in the Queensland Cup.

Fonua’s milestone game against the West Tigers at Leichhardt Oval also saw him become the 54th Storm player to play 50 games.
