Lively Storm winger Marika Koroibete is hoping a cut on his achilles will heal in time for Saturday night’s Preliminary Final at AAMI Park.

“The foot is going pretty good so far, the medical staff are doing a very good job on it,” Koroibete said.

“It’s getting better everyday.

“Hopefully I’ll start running soon. I did a bit of cross-training yesterday, it’s all good, no dramas at all this morning.

“It depends on the medical staff, they’ll let me know.

I’m keen to get out there with the boys, especially at this time of the year.”
