Will Chambers says he’s excited to play in front of a packed crowd at AAMI Park for Storm’s Preliminary Final next week.

AAMI Park will host its third NRL Preliminary Final in five years when Storm face either the Cowboys or Sharks on Saturday 26 September.

“AAMI Park is a good ground to play at because it’s so tight,” the centre said on Friday morning.

“It will be very vocal and very loud, it’s exciting.

“Hopefully the Melbournians get behind us considering there won’t be an AFL game in town.”

Chambers has successfully partnered with Matt Duffie on Melbourne’s right edge since the New Zealand international made his return to football from injury in Round 20 with the pair combining to great success.

“He obviously had that bad run of injuries, it’s great to see him back,” Chambers said.

“With the defence side of things it’s something we’ve worked on hard this year.

“To have him back is awesome, it’s good to see him back on the footy field.”
