Storm halfback Cooper Cronk says Thursday night’s showdown with the Broncos at Suncorp will be a ‘massive game’.

Perennially blockbuster contests, Storm travel to Brisbane hoping to keep their top four hopes alive with a win in front of what is expected to be a sell out crowd.

“It’s a massive game,” Cronk said prior to training on the Sunshine Coast on Monday night.

“We weren’t that great on (last) Monday night against Newcastle.

“We turned the tables and played really well and played a consistent game of football on Saturday night (against the Cowboys).

“The intensity of Saturday night was finals like and no doubt it will be exactly the same on Thursday.

“Our focus will be on the things we did last week and maintaining them. Then improving the areas we didn’t do so well.”

After a three day training camp on the Sunshine Coast, the Storm playing group will travel to Brisbane on Wednesday.
