As part of VicHealth’s TeamUp initiative to encourage more Victorians to get active, Melbourne Storm held a free women’s rugby league skills session aimed to inspire women to get out, get active and try something new.
Melbourne Storm players Cameron Munster, Christian Welch, Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Billy Britain were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to take the women through some drills and skills specific to rugby league.
See Friday night football at AAMI Park when Storm host Penrith on July 17. Book tickets.
The strong turnout on a cold night displayed the powerful impact of getting active as part of a team, and offers encouragement to others wanting to get involved in something new.
Check out our short video clip above of the night and see Melbourne Storm Ambassador Robbie Kearns’ tips on how to find the motivation to get active.
