Melbourne Storm's U20 Thunderbolts will now host South Sydney at Gosch's Paddock on Saturday 16 May from 5:15pm.

Originally scheduled to be played as a curtain raiser at AAMI Park prior to Melbourne's NRL blockbuster against the Rabbitohs, the match will now be played at Gosch's Paddock Oval No.2 (Melbourne Football Club's training oval) to reduce the traffic on the field of play prior to Sunday's A-League Grand Final.

Storm take on reigning premiers South Sydney at AAMI Park, Saturday 16 May from 7:30pm. Get your tickets.

Once it was confirmed on Friday night Melbourne Victory would host the A-League's showpiece event, AAMI Park management requested the National Youth Competition fixture be moved to assist with preparations before Sunday's final.

The U20 Thunderbolts will host the Rabbioths at Melbourne Football Club's training oval at Gosch's Paddock and not Storm's usual training ground due to improved lighting.

As a co-tenant and neighbour, Melbourne Storm understands the circumstances surrounding this request and was happy to accommodate Melbourne Victory and Football Federation Australia.

Gates to AAMI Park will now open at 6:30pm, one hour prior to NRL kick-off. Corporate functions and timings will remain the same.

Storm fans are still encouraged to come to the precinct early and support the Thunderbolts as they look to build on back-to-back wins and consolidate a top eight position on the NYC table.
